Description: This is an EPC project consisting of rebuilding an existing approximate 32-mile 161 kV wood H-frame transmission line into a double circuit 345 / 161 kV transmission line with tubular steel monopole structures set on reinforced concrete pier foundations. The right-of-way width is to be expanded from 100-ft to 150-ft throughout most of the length of the line route. There will be short sections of single circuit design at either end when routing the 345 kV and 161 kV circuits into the Oak Grove (both 161 kV and 345 kV), Mercer (for 161 kV), and Sandburg (both 161 kV and 345 kV) Substations. The total final line length, with the short single circuit sections/spans at the substation end, will be approximately 32.7 miles.
